
Join us on Sunday, March 23rd from 9:30 am – 11 am with Carleen (@alighwithleen).
A blend of restorative and vinyasa yoga movement that focuses on opening the heart and hips. This will be a mindful flow where participants will learn how to build strength in the spine and hip flexors. Participants will also learn how to access softening their own nervous systems through breathing techniques. This will be more than your average yoga class. It will be an experience including gentle hands on alignment and a soothing neck massage in savasana.
Your Guide:
Carleen Shankle is a certified Yoga Instructor with 15 years experience of teaching in NY. She began studying and practicing in 2008 and has been certified since 2009 with Yoga Sutra, currently known as The Yoga School of New York. She is currently lead teacher coordinator with Heal Haus where she holds workshops and classes within the vinyasa and restorative styles of yoga. She is also a Nike Well Collective Trainer offering yogic practices for Nike events.
